The following risks are not covered, loss damage or expense caused by:-

1.
Delay

2.
Confiscation or detention by Customs or other difficulties or authorities

3.
Wear and tear, moth vermin, normal atmospheric or climatic conditions or inherent vice

4.
Mechanical, electrical or electronic breakdown or derangement unless there is external evidence of the breakdown or derangment having been directly caused by an insured risk

5.
Loss or damage to any living pot plant

6.
Loss or damage for any jewellery, money, personal items and papers, documents or stones considered to be valuable

7.
Damage or loss to any carton not packed or unpacked by W.E. Hughes or their appointed representative or agent

8.
Loss, damage or spoilage of animals, pets, foods and drinks, all perishables, motor vehicles, boats and trailers, unless specified in the insurane proposal

9.
Damage or loss to any artwork, precision equipment, collection of coins and stamps, antiques, curios, and containers of precious metals, unless directly specified on the declaration proposal

10.
Damage caused by deterioration, decay, mould and mildew, infestation of oxidation

11.
Items that are inherently frail and susceptible to damage when moved any wear and tear, depreciation or any inherent vice on insured furniture and effects

12.
Any loss or damage, which includes loss of profits, markets or any property use which may consequent to any submitted claim

13.
Exclusion of damage or loss caused by armed conflicts, nuclear fusion and or fission
